Enjoy a free Queens Arts Fund–supported concert by The Brass Tree. Blending brass, percussion, jazz and electronics into evolving soundscapes.
The Brass Tree is a collaboration between Rossen Nedelchev and composer Greg Hammontree that blends brass, percussion, and electronic sound design into evolving soundscapes. Supported by the Queens Arts Fund, the project will culminate in a free public concert at the Queens Botanical Garden on September 27, 2026. Inspired by the organic growth of a tree — each musical voice forming a branch in a living sonic canopy — the performance invites Garden visitors and the surrounding community into an open, exploratory musical experience while bringing contemporary music to a treasured public space in Flushing.
